TO BOOK YOUR COMPLIMENTARY PERSONAL TRAINING CONSULTATION:
As a woman over 50 myself, I recognize that women wish to age with beauty, grace, strength, and confidence. We are less interested in achieving a “size 2 bikini body”; rather, the focus is on quality of life - maintaining and improving our functionality outside of the gym while performing activities of daily living.
And, maintaining our independence is a top priority!
Twenty years in the health & fitness profession has taught me that age truly IS just a number. Lifestyle choices can greatly influence one’s ageing process, energy, vitality and overall health. Regular exercise is simply one of the choices that corresponds with optimum results. My passion as a Whole-Life Wellness Coach is to equip, empower and support women over 50 to create new healthy habits that align with how they want to look and feel and what they want to accomplish each and every day.
Specifically, in the role of Personal Trainer, I address the current state of your body (regardless of your age) as demonstrated in an initial assessment where we evaluate your upper and lower body functionality, strength, range of motion (flexibility) and balance.
Then, incorporating specialties in Orthopedics, Corrective Exercise, Functional Movement and Fascial Stretch, I design a personalized, therapeutic approach to progress you toward your desired goals. You’ll see significant improvements in the areas of core stabilization, core strength, muscular strength, flexibility, posture and balance. These improvements can dramatically enhance and enrich your quality of life and independence while increasing functionality and avoiding, improving, or eliminating pain and injuries of the low back, knees, shoulders, feet and ankles.
In the event that joint (knee, hip, etc.) surgery is necessary, I also specialize in surgery preparation and post rehab to facilitate the fastest and most complete recovery experience possible!
I provide training services to clients of all ages and fitness levels, addressing each individual’s current limitations and ultimate personal health, wellness and fitness goals.
I provide In-Person (local) sessions at your home or office and Virtual/Online Training as well!
Here's what one client had to say:
“I have worked with many trainers over the years and Brenda is the best I’ve ever worked with. She possesses a unique quality to understand her client’s abilities and limitations while motivating them to not only achieve, but surpass their goals. She has me performing exercises that I never would have believed I could do.”
T. Helman, Age 80
